We are all okay just as we are…
I am committed to supporting and guiding you through it all. I will hold the place of dark and light and be the objective party you need with the connection of loving-kindness and acceptance. I will be the one who reminds you of who you are and to suspend judgment.
My approach is directive, compassionate, respectful, spiritual, educational, and even humorous – you’ll laugh, you’ll cry. I utilize traditional talking therapy, gestalt, CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), mindfulness, contemporary neuroscience(IPNB), and body-centered techniques, depending on your individual need and comfort.
Learn about developing an embodied practice
Let’s move forward beyond old patterns…
In our work together, we are engaged in the dynamic process of moving beyond old patterns and taking action to achieve a greater sense of freedom and fulfillment. Whether our work is brief or long term, through a trauma informed embodied practice, you will learn to create new and effective ways of living.
I combine clinical experience, intuitive creativeness, contemporary neuroscience, and devotion to my own work of self-discovery to bring you to a new paradigm. I believe that our capacity to do it differently is endless, yet the essence of who we are needs no work.
We now know, from all the recent scientific research in contemporary neuroscience, that how we focus our attention shapes the structure of our brain for personal well-being and healthy relationships.
Neuroplasticity demonstrates that the formation of new neurons and neurological links continue throughout our lives. We understand these links through our stories, our history and how they impact our body, mind and relationships.
I am here to facilitate your connection to self and others.
Together, we will rebuild and reconnect the links that will better serve you while redefining and shifting the ones that keep you stuck, unhappy, out of balance and disconnected. Change has to be repeated long enough to change the experience.
I have been influenced over the years by trauma informed practices, existentialism, Buddhism, meditation, yoga, religious studies, science, movement, Jung, quantum physics, and contemporary neuroscience (particularly Stephen Porges, Peter Levine, Bessel Van Der Kolk, Dan Siegel, Gabor Mate, Stan Tatkin and Bonnie Badenoch).
