Zoe Garbarini MSW RSW

I’m so glad you are here.

My practice has taken me from New York, to Boulder, CO, to beautiful BC, Canada, and presently to wonderful Portland, OR.

My work and practice continue to morph and evolve; we are not static beings. I believe in challenging myself to move past fear and continue to take risks. I am a nonconformist and am really okay with not fitting in a neat little box or category. I love the complexity of the human spirit and all of the potential we already possess.

We all have our own story and background, regardless of race, sexuality, identity, education, class, or just feeling like a different person in the world…..I welcome the opportunity to know you.

My passion and life’s work is to bring to consciousness all that blocks and inhibits our ability to be connected, engaged, fulfilled, and alive.

I embrace the messiness of life; it’s unavoidable and brings a brilliance of color we would otherwise see as grey. I am forever inspired by my clients and humbled by my continued journey.

My professional background includes over 30 years of experience and education in mental health, addictions, crisis work, psychiatric in-patient, family dynamics, couple counseling, LGBTQIA+ counseling and outreach, life coaching and systems analysis. My private practice of 26 years is a diverse population of clients~ all striving to live more authentically and follow their true path with meaning and purpose.
